If you or you heating installer has chosen to install an oil lifter, it can help to understand what these pumps are for & where they can be used.).
Oil lifters store a small amount of heating oil in a reservoir, & gravity feeds to a vaporising burner or pressure jet burner. Once primed on installation, when the level within the reservoir drops, the unit will run the pump & will re-fill to the safe capacity working capacity, then shut off until the level drops again. These units are especially useful for underground storage tanks in farms or rural homes, where there may be a requirement to move heating oil further distance than traditional methods can handle.
Anglo Nordic stock a range of oil lifters suitable for both domestic & commercial installations. These range from 15 litres an hour up to flow rates of 1500 litres an hour depending on your application.
Our Inpro OUF oil lifters (Formerly “BM Controls”) are available with ether 3.5 litre or 12 litre reservoirs to choose from depending on the litres an hour that your oil fuelled appliance needs.
